1. The passage omitted by Mattel constituted cross-references to regulations governing the procedure on charges brought before the Commission by its staff in the name of the Commission—making it clear that what sort of complaint was being referred to.
2. Is Mattel suggesting that Silverstein's Superior Court complaint was handed back to him by the court clerks and not accepted for filing? That is hardly the case. 3. In addition, although he had not previously sought monetary sanctions, now that monetary sanctions are being sought from him Silverstein asks that if the Commission concludes--in passing on his previous motions for sanctions-- that he was correct in criticizing the respondents for not sending anyone to the investigatory conference who was familiar with the events at issue, he be awarded $692.78 in costs associated with his wasted trip to Boston to attend that conference, consisting of $390.50 for airfare, $248.66 for car rental and $53.62 to take his Aunt, with whom he stayed, out to dinner.
